Sri Pronab Kumar Makrary (born on 30th November 1970) is a distinguished educationist, engineer, and institutional leader from Assam. He hails from Modhupur Tinsukia Gaon in Dibrugarh district and is currently residing at Boiragimoth, Dibrugarh. He is the son of Late Lakheswar Makrary and Late Sundari Makrary.
With a strong academic foundation in engineering, having completed his degree from the Indian Institute of Civil Engineers ( India), Sri Makrary brings a rare combination of technical expertise and educational vision. His professional journey reflects a deep commitment to institutional development, academic excellence, and community service.
He serves as the Chairman of Sampoorna Kendra Education Trust and Sampoorna Kendra Vidyalaya, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the vision, infrastructure, and academic framework of the institution. Under his leadership, the organization continues to strive for holistic education and quality learning outcomes.
In addition to his contributions to school education, he is an Executive Member of the Governing Body of Auniati University, Teok, actively participating in higher education governance and policy direction. He also holds the position of President of Auniati Vidya Niketan, further strengthening his engagement in academic leadership.
Beyond the field of education, Sri Makrary is deeply involved in socio-religious initiatives. He serves as the Chairman of Sri Sri Shivshakti Mandir and the Executive President of Hanumangari Mandir, Dibrugarh, contributing to community development and cultural preservation.
